I prefer to look for one quality pick per day rather than spreading my money around, it means I don't look for anything else but winners. I don't tend to be below evens. If it wins and I make profit, I don't care that its not 5/1 every time. I bet to make profit, not for fun, not to prove the bookies got the pricing wrong when an outsider come in. I look for winners and I place my money on the one horse I feel will deliver the profit that day.
A lot of people start off thinking that they can't afford £100 per bet and that may be the case, but if you bet at £10 per bet and place 3 each way bets per day, that's £60. If you place 2 win bets per day at £20 each, that's £40 per day. If you place a £1 Canadian bet per day, then that's £26 per day. Look at how much you bet across all your selections and imagine putting that amount on just one selection per day:
Betting these amounts per day, over 5 weeks would have made you the following:
£10 = £307.90 profit
£25 = £769.75 profit
£50 = £1,539.50 profit
£100 = £3,079 profit
